Rating:3.90

Comments: Xerch'de is obviously a first attempt at scenario creation. Though it is small, very small, taking place within a single town, it still delivers a solid gaming experience. We need to encourage any new scenarios for BOA so a rating of 3.80 is justified in my opinion. Its certainly not going to break any new ground. But the fact remains that Xerch'de is a descent scenario that will provide at least a half hour of gaming. The scenario involves some in game cinematics which function well to advance the plot. The voting option was also well executed. So yes this is a short but overall good scenario that needs to be played by all. My Suggestion to the Creator of Xerch'de is, take what you've accomplished here and implement it into a scenario of longer length and you'll do fine. ResPek..

Almost there... But not quite. Most players will see this moreso as a "snippet" of a larger scenario, and it manages to be shorter than all other scenarios thusfar- including Babysitting, Roses and Emerald Mountain. Everything is somewhat solid, and the technical aspects toss in a few curveballs, although not very many. The fights are short, ritualistic, and come off as being mundane. There are only two real characters in the story, one of whom is killed via deus ex machina before being met, meaning that the rest of the scenario rubs off as being static cleanup duty. Although admittedly, a beginner designer can't really do much else with only *2* towns...

Worth playing, albeit mostly because of its diminutive size, since whatever time you will feel as if you have wasted on this scenario, it still won't be much.

Rating:3.9
Comments:This is a very enjoyable scenario to play, maybe while you wait for the kettle to boil or maybe while you're downloading one of it's bigger brothers.

It's self-consistent and, as far as I can tell, has no flaws. On the other hand, it's not very long on virtues. It won't wow you, but it's a fun way to spend time.

It's definitely worth the download, and were it longer I'd be happy to see it in the top table. I can see very good things coming from this author in the future.
